Join us for events this Earth Week!

Every year on April 22nd people mobilize for the protection of the planet. Fifty years since the first Earth Day in 1970, the fight for a safer climate future on this Earth is all the more pressing. Here at the University of California, campuses need to take responsibility for their contributions to climate change and decarbonize operations.

The UC is currently re-writing its Climate Protection Policy, but we need Chancellors to commit to ambitious decarbonization timelines in support of efforts to achieve climate and environmental justice.

This month, and especially next week in the lead-up to Earth Day, events are happening all over the UC campuses to call for more climate action and to celebrate the environment that sustains us. See the flier below for the main Earth Week events and see here for our full list of Earth Month events across the 10 campuses.
